A DOT-approved full-face helmet that doesn't punish you for wanting real protection. The Kinetic Lite pairs a lightweight polymer shell with a dual-density EPS liner and Fly's True Functional Ventilation system — under three pounds, properly vented, and built to a fit spec usually reserved for helmets twice the price.

  • DOT approved — meets Department of Transportation safety standards
  • Lightweight polymer shell — 1,342g ±25g / 2.95 lbs ±0.06 lb (size Large)
  • Dual-density EPS liner — two foam densities working together to manage impact energy
  • True Functional Ventilation (TFV) — front intakes, EPS-aligned channels, rear exhaust
  • Precision fit system — three shell sizes and four EPS sizes
  • Removable, washable comfort liner and cheek pads — moisture-wicking and easy to clean
  • Custom-molded rubber trim with integrated nose guard
  • Adjustable peak visor — sun and roost protection, goggle-friendly eye port
  • Includes soft fleece helmet bag

Serious protection without the premium price tag

The Fly Racing Kinetic Lite is what happens when a helmet is engineered around the rider instead of the price sheet. It carries DOT certification, a dual-density Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) liner tuned to manage impact energy across two densities, and a durable polymer shell that keeps the whole thing at roughly 1,342 grams (about 2.95 lbs in size Large). That's light enough that you stop noticing it a few minutes into a ride — which is exactly the point, because a helmet you actually want to wear is the one that protects you.

Airflow that works when you're moving

Fly's True Functional Ventilation (TFV) system isn't decorative. Multiple front intakes pull air in, aligned channels routed through the EPS carry it across your head, and rear exhaust vents push the hot air out. The faster you go, the harder it works. Combined with the moisture-wicking comfort liner, it keeps sweat and heat from building up on long rides and warm days.

A fit that's actually dialed in

Three shell sizes and four EPS sizes mean you're getting a helmet built close to your head shape rather than a single shell padded out to fake a fit. A custom-molded rubber trim finishes the edge cleanly and includes an integrated nose guard for roost and debris. The comfort liner and cheek pads are fully removable and washable, so the helmet stays fresh through a full season.

Who it's for

Trail riders, off-road and motocross riders, dirt bike and dual-sport riders, and anyone on a high-speed electric bike who wants full-face coverage with a chin bar. The adjustable peak visor blocks sun and roost, and the eye port is cut wide for goggles.
